My Story
Melissa Tafoya is a leading expert in both pickleball and tennis, with over 30 years of coaching experience across multiple racquet sports. As one of the few professionally certified pickleball coaches in the nation and a top 2% PTR Certified Tennis Coach globally, Melissa has helped hundreds of players advance their game.
With specialty training in adult, senior, high-performance, and junior development, she exceeds her continuing education requirements annually, ensuring she remains at the forefront of her profession. Her unique expertise also extends to on-court psychology, where she helps players refine their mental mindset for optimal performance.
Melissa holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Northern Arizona University and an MBA. In addition to her coaching credentials, she is certified in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Human Interaction Technology, bringing advanced communication skills to her coaching.
